Water Justice Advocacy is the effort made to make sure everyone has fair access to safe, clean, and affordable water regardless of their income, gender, race, cultural background, geographical location, or climate and environmental factors. Water, a common resource that is vital to health and communal well-being, is strived to be safeguarded as a fundamental human right challenging social, economic and political inequalities that cause some to only have access to lower quality, less accessible and more expensive water. At its core, it is the combination of environmental protection with human rights, with the aim for fairness in how water is shared, governed, and preserved for present and future generations.
